If you're trying to get ChromiumOS working on Virtual box, you'll need these network settings.
It took me a while, since its the last in the list!!
Adapter Type: Paravirtualized Network (virtio-net)
Should give you Ethernet in the login screen now?
Its a bit slow for me though....
